About ISLAND OUTREACH

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM SUITED FOR?

Volunteers who want to do a range of activities that will make a meaningful difference to island communities, but who also want to experience the excellent recreational opportunities the area has to offer.

WHAT TO EXPECT AND HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Gayon Island Outreach project offers volunteers a chance to participate in a 4-day island tour. You will spend the days visiting and staying on two different islands enjoying everything the beautiful scenery offers, as well as a great variety of volunteer tasks that make a difference to people lives.

A key focus of the trip is rural community outreach to villages with limited and basic resources. Activities include:

* Beach and reef clean-ups.
* Education support.
* Welfare support.
* Medical support.
* Small construction projects.
* Donations distribution.
* Help with research.

These activities all help contribute to the ongoing efforts of Camp Adventure Africa Initiative in these remote island where we have a number of development projects.

You’ll also have a good amount of free time to explore tropical islands, or just enjoy a fun game with other volunteers or with the village children.
