  SUMMER CAMP / OUTREACH 2025

SHARPEN – Becoming Who You Were Made to Be

SHARPEN” represents the seven key dimensions of personal growth and leadership development we aim to nurture in every camper and volunteer. Through immersive activities, reflection, and community, each element of this theme becomes a stepping stone to purpose, impact, and transformation.

This year’s outreach theme, SHARPEN, speaks to a powerful journey of personal growth, discovery, and purpose. Just like a tool must be sharpened to be effective, we too must be refined—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and in our capacity to serve others.

Why It Matters

In many African communities, youth lack access to platforms that equip them with leadership tools and exposure beyond their immediate environment. CAA Summer Camp bridges that gap by:

  • Nurturing a new generation of responsible, compassionate, and visionary leaders.
  • Strengthening local communities through youth-led outreach.
  • Promoting peace, unity, and understanding across cultures and faiths.
  • Giving participants a safe, engaging space to grow mentally, physically, and socially.
